This was one of the worst car rental experiences I’ve had, and I strongly recommend not renting any vehicle from Sixty Rent A Car or KGF Car Rental in Jaipur.
I booked with Sixty Rent A Car over the phone but was handed a car from KGF Car Rental without any clear explanation of the relationship between the two businesses.
The Honda City I received was in poor condition. The tires were underinflated at around 20 PSI, and one tire had a leaking valve that needed replacement. The vehicle also had visible dents, scratches, and missing trim pieces. The car did not feel well maintained, and the fuel efficiency was less than 10 km/l during my trip, which was far below what I expected for a Honda City.
The most frustrating part was the hidden charges. I paid ₹1,900 per day and a ₹5,000 refundable security deposit. I was never asked to sign any agreement mentioning a kilometer limit or excess kilometer charges, and the receipt provided to me does not mention any kilometer restriction.
I drove only within Rajasthan (Jaipur, Bhilwara, Udaipur, and Alwar). After returning the car, I honestly informed them where I had traveled. Only then did they claim there was a kilometer limit and started charging extra per kilometer while withholding my security deposit. They also said I should have informed them before leaving Jaipur and Bhilwara, even though no such condition was communicated when I rented the car.
Their behavior completely changed after receiving payment. Before the rental they were polite and respectful. After I returned the vehicle, they became rude, dismissive, and started giving different explanations for the additional charges.
My advice to everyone: Avoid renting from Sixty Rent A Car or KGF Car Rental. If you still decide to rent from them, insist on a written agreement, ask for every charge and restriction in writing, inspect the car thoroughly, check the tire pressure, take detailed photos and videos, and do not rely on verbal promises.
Based on my experience, I will never rent from them again and cannot recommend them to anyone.
